Professor Emily Carrington is a professor in the department of biology. She spends her time researching both at the UW Seattle campus and the Friday Harbor Laboratories in the San Juan Islands. Her research investigates the physiological ecology of marine organisms and how coastal ecosystems will change as a result of global warming. Professor Carrington loves to kayak and spend time outdoors, so come hike with a fellow nature lover!
