I'm originally from the desert in Eastern WA (My hometown is called the "French Fry Capital of the World" and we produce almost 20% of all the french fries eaten in America), but I've always loved coming to this side of the mountains to camp and hike. I don't think I'll ever get used to the weather and the crowds, though. My favorite place to hike in WA is around any of our volcanoes, and I also love heading back east when I miss the desert and the isolation (Western WA is flashy but you need a soul to love Eastern WA, it's unique - it has cool rocks). I'm studying Geography and CEP so I can hopefully move back out to the middle of nowhere one day, but for now I like trying new Sichuan food spots around Seattle and cooking Mexican food.
